Emma
Bullimore
London-based entertainment journalist, broadcaster and host. You'll find her on-air, online and in print.
Unless she has stopped to say hello to a dog.
Emma writes:
With the birth of Netflix, the dawn of the golden age of drama and the never-ending delights of Danny Dyer's family tree, the past ten years have been a fascinating, exciting and often surprising time to be a TV critic. Covering entertainment stories, be it the Oscars envelope switch or the Spice Girls reunion, will never lose its novelty.
Beyond the showbiz sparkle, I now also work as presenter across both commercial networks and the BBC, playing chart-toppers, delivering in-depth profile interviews and discussing everything from Brexit to Bandersnatch. As a working class kid thrust into a middle class media world, I'm always thrilled to bring my perspective to news debates and paper reviews, be it on Sky News, BBC Breakfast, 5Live or beyond.
My career highlights include judging for BAFTA, hosting Q&As at the BFI, making and presenting BBC 5Live documentary Puttin' on the Glitz: The Strictly Story, providing on-set reports for Radio 4's Front Row and evaluating Me Too on Woman's Hour. And, of course, being followed on Twitter by Melissa Joan Hart.
I’m always keen to work with new people, so do ping me an email and say hello.
